I was born on an army base in Fort Riley Kansas to an Irish American father and a South Korean mother. At 2 we moved back to my fathers home town in Oregon. I was first introduced to the world of fashion when a close family member enrolled me into Barbizon school of modeling and thought it would give me a boost of confidence. There was no turning back. While in school I worked for local catalogues in Portland and Eugene.
I eventually outgrew small town life and made the move to Los Angeles. It was there I started my international career traveling to Milan, Singapore, and Cape Town. It was in Cape Town where I would meet life time friends that gave me the opportunity to move to New York City.
Driving in a cab with the Manhattan skyline in front of me, I knew I was home. Even after witnessing the Twin Towers fall on 9/11, my love for my new home never wavered. Instead it was strengthened by the camaraderie and generosity of the people of New York. I have now spent almost 14 years in New York City cultivating a modeling and acting career that I am very grateful for and proud of.
”Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”-Mark Twain
